Employment Agreements

Georgia is an “at will” state in terms of employment law, meaning that an employment relationship may be terminated at the will of either party for any reason or no reason at all. If the employer or the employee wishes to alter this basic relationship, a written employment agreement can be used to memorialize the terms. Generally it covers salary and other compensation, benefits, vacations, retirement plans, reimbursement of expenses for business travel and entertainment of customers of the Company, provide for Company automobiles or personal use of an employee automobile and possible stock options or bonus opportunities. Mr. Raines has experience in the negotiation and drafting of employment agreements.
